MAGICAL MIRRORS

Students have been exploring how mirrors work when they reflect an image.

Symmetrical designs and patterns can be found all around us!

Having experimented with real 3D shapes and objects,
the children then recorded where lines of symmetry can be found.

Mind Maps for kids
Here's an interesting short video with Tony Buzan
about how to get mind mapping!
This is a tried and tested technique for accelerated learning.
One we're using to organise our project ideas.

Flat Stanley returns

A surprise package arrived in our classroom this week.
Flat Stanley flew by Airmail safely back from his extended trip to the USA!
Mrs Armstrong and her class from the Calvert school in Baltimore, Maryland looked after Stanley and his new English friend James from Coventry, UK.

We were really excited to see so many special things in one box!
Thank you Mrs Armstrong and children at Calvert school.
